Modern / Park Avenue Art Moderne
A busy businesswoman commissioned the combining of two apartments to Marco with only one request: My mind is in NY but my heart is in Paris. Make me feel home…
Marco immediately envisioned an Art Moderne space that reflected the prominence of the 1950’s when NYC inherited the role of Paris as the center of the art world.
Marco’s approach was to create a seamless space where guests can flow from one space to another while maintaining the same architectural vocabulary.
Large pieces from Lalique and Maison Bagues were installed while Marco travelled to Paris to shop for antiques and artwork that was ultimately installed.
